Wellenstein - Attractions
Wellenstein's major attraction is its wonderful shaded public square surrounded by old restored viticultural dwellings. Arcades going back to the 16th century and houses with facades finished in warm colors afford a very ancient flavor to this typical viniculture village.
A didactic trail, informing visitors about living and working in the vineyards, links the three charming villages of Wellenstein, Bech-Kleinmacher and Schwebsange. The trail offers a panoramic view of the Scheuerberg.
At the end of the trail, you shouldn't miss out on visiting the wine-cellars of the "Domaines de Vinsmoselle", the largest cooperative wine cellars along the Mosel on the Luxemburg side.
